ISZAC FA’ASUAMALEAUI has left Catalans Dragons with immediate effect.
The Australian prop arrived at the club ahead of this season from Gold Coast Titans on what was initially announced as a two-year contract, although he later agreed to join Perth Bears for their NRL entry in 2027.
He made ten appearances for the Dragons, the last of them coming at the beginning of May against Leigh Leopards.
Catalans said Fa’asuamaleaui had been released from his contract for “family reasons”.
The Dragons, who appointed John Cartwright as head coach last month, are eighth in Super League ahead of Saturday’s visit of Castleford Tigers.
