SOUTH WALES JETS recovered from 12-10 behind at half-time to win 32-28 at ABERAVON FIGHTING IRISH.

Tries by Danyl Davies and, with a brace, Madoc Lane, helped earn the Jets a 20-12 cushion and that proved to be too much for the Fighting Irish to overhaul despite touchdowns by Kian Parlour, Lewis Francis and Cody Rees, with Jamie Murphy completing a four-goal contribution. 

South Wales stayed out of sight with touchdowns for Darrel Moore and David Hooper, while Jamie Leech emulated Murphy’s four conversions.

Lane and Craig Lewis had opened for the Jets while Aberavon had registered tries by Jay Baker and Rees.

BRIDGEND BLUE BULLS won 40-36 at RHONDDA OUTLAWS after being 30-18 down at half-time.

The Blue Bulls closed with a brace apiece for Dylan Thomas and Jurie Kesans, while Corey Harris chipped in with a try and four goals. Lewis Evans, William Tams and Ioan Hawkes also swept in.

Rhondda missed out despite two tries by Oliver Owen, a try and six goals for Mackenzie Williams and touchdowns to Corey Phillips, Adam Parry and, in the second period, Evan Baker.
