HULL FC will be hoping it’s fifth time lucky as they bid to end their barren run against the in-form Leopards.
Last Thursday’s loss at York saw the Black and Whites slump down the table to 13th, with only Huddersfield Giants below them.
By contrast, Leigh are steadily picking up the pace after a slow start to the season, a hard-fought win over Castleford last week propelling them into the playoffs amid a run of nine wins from their last 11 matches.
Hull interim boss Andy Last makes three changes.
Winger Lewis Martin is ruled out through head injury protocols, with Callum Kemp and Jed Cartwright – who has joined St Helens on loan – also dropping out of the squad.
Davy Litten returns from a head knock, with Will Hutchinson and Ben Johnson also recalled.
Adrian Lam has named just a 20-man squad for the fixture.
Aaron Pene and Robbie Mulhern – Castleford Tigers-bound next season – drop out, as does outside back Bailey Hodgson following an elbow infection that led to him being admitted to hospital through the week.
Nathan Wilde and Will Brough come in to the squad as a result.
