LEEDS RHINOS forward Ben Littlewood is out for the rest of the season after suffering a hamstring injury in his side’s win over Bradford Bulls.
Fresh from signing a new three-year deal with the Headingley outfit, Littlewood will not appear again for the Rhinos in 2026.
His place in the back row will be taken by Chris Hankinson, after a week out with a head injury, while young forward Zak Lloyd – who was 18th man against Bradford – will make a club debut in Friday’s home tie with Toulouse Olympique.
Hooker Danny Levi, however, will be out for another month with his own concussion, suffered earlier this month against Castleford Tigers.
Rhinos coach Brad Arthur said: “It’s a minimum of four weeks for him and from there it’s when everyone is comfortable and he is comfortable.
“It will be a week at a time after that initial month to see where is.
“Ash Handley and Ryan Hall (who won’t be involved against Toulouse due to appendicitis and a foot injury respectively) are touch and go for next week.
“Zak Lloyd will be given his debut this week so it’s pretty special for him.
“We’re giving young boys a clear path to the first team but then Ian Blease (sporting director) is still looking to add quality to the roster to ensure we give the youngsters the best environment to develop.
“Zak has a fair bit of skill. He likes the collision part of it and can also kick goals so he is pretty well-rounded. He is only young.”
