WAKEFIELD TRINITY forward Thomas Doyle has returned to Bradford Bulls on a one-week loan deal.
The 27-year-old is a product of the Bulls’ pathway system, making his senior debut against Rochdale Hornets in 2019 and making 57 appearances for his boyhood club over four years.
Doyle then joined Keighley Cougars for one season before making the move to Wakefield, where made 29 appearances in their Championship and 1895 Cup-winning season of 2024.
However he was limited to five games last year and is yet to make an appearance for Trinity this season due to a lengthy injury spell.
Bradford coach Kurt Haggerty, who is currently dealing with a significant injury crisis, said: “An opportunity became available to give Thomas some game time.
“Andy Ackers has played a lot of minutes and has a bit of a thumb injury at the minute and Mitch Souter is out for the season.
“He has played with the Bulls before and he knows what it means to play for this club.
“It was a no-brainer for us, it’s only for the week but we will review it from there.
“I’ve been hesitant to bring people in on loan but when his name came up from the affiliation we have had, we made it happen.”
