TAYSIDE SILVERBACKS will meet Edinburgh Eagles in the Scottish Rugby League’s Grand Final, which will be played at Hawick on Saturday, August 15.

The match will be a repeat of Saturday’s league fixture at Tayside, which Edinburgh won 28-18.

Tayside have lifted the League Leaders’ Shield, despite their defeat two days ago.

Elsewhere, West End Warriors were unable to raise a team for the fixture at Border Barbarians through a combination of injuries, holidays and work or rugby union commitments.
