REUBENN RENNIE has left Toulouse Olympique with immediate effect.
The 30-year-old joined the French club ahead of the 2023 Championship campaign and went on to register 33 tries in 67 matches over the course of four seasons.
That included ten tries in 23 matches last season as Toulouse won the Championship title.
But Rennie has been limited to ten matches since their promotion to Super League, a try-scoring appearance in a June defeat to Leigh Leopards being his only game since April.
The Cook Islands international, who was out of contract at the end of the current Super League campaign, has left the Stade Ernest Wallon with six games of the regular season still to go.
Rennie began his career with Cronulla Sharks but failed to register an NRL appearance, instead making one appearance in the New South Wales Cup in 2014.
From there, he moved to Canterbury Bulldogs where he played 21 times for the club’s reserves, before making the switch to Newtown Jets.
With the Jets, Rennie scored 20 tries in 46 appearances and signed for the Mount Pritchard Mounties for 2019, scoring a further 20 tries in 43 games.
