HULL FC have secured young fullback Logan Moy for a further year, keeping him at the club until the end of 2028.
Moy is enjoying the most influential season of his nascent career with 18 appearances so far, surpassing the 16 made in his breakthrough 2024 campaign.
The 21-year-old has been filling in for first-choice fullback Will Pryce, who suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury in February.
There will be extra competition in that position next season with Bailey Hodgson also joining from Leigh Leopards, but the fresh contract extension is a show of faith in the club academy product.
“We are really pleased with Logan’s continued development in 2026 and the strides he is making in his game,” explained Hull chief executive Richie Myler.
“He is a bright, local talent, and a player that the juniors in our pathway can look up to as an example of what is achievable at this club with desire and commitment.
“We know there is still a lot more to come from Logan in 2027 and beyond, and we’re confident that he will thrive even more in a fresh new environment we are developing here at the club.
“Securing his services for an additional year on top of his previous deal is a smart piece of business, because he is only going to get better year on year.”
Moy, who has scored six tries in 43 club appearances overall, says he is looking forward to working with Steve McNamara, the former England coach and Hull player who is taking the reins from the start of next season.
“I am loving my time at my boyhood club so far, so to extend my contract by a further year was an absolute no-brainer,” said Moy.
“There’s still a lot for me to work on in my game, but I’m incredibly excited for the opportunity to work under Steve and keep developing under him over the next few years.
“His experience and knowledge will get the best out of us as a squad, and us younger players in particular as he knows what it takes to come through this system and succeed as a Hull FC player.”
