JUNIOR NSEMBA will make his return from injury against Leeds Rhinos on Saturday night, head coach Matt Peet has confirmed.
The secondrow has not featured for the club since their Magic Weekend win over St Helens at the beginning of July after suffering a setback in his recovery from a hamstring injury.
But he is a timely boost for the Warriors ahead of their top-of-the-table showdown with the Rhinos, the winner of which is likely to claim the League Leaders’ Shield.
“He looks good,” Peet said of the 22-year-old.
“He will feature on Saturday – it’s great to see him back.
“He might take a few weeks to get going again, but it’s certainly good to welcome one of your starters back at this time of the year.
“I know he’s raring to go.”
The Warriors still remain without captain Liam Farrell, who has been sidelined since June with a shoulder injury.
But whilst unable to put a timeframe on his return, Peet is hopeful that an appointment with a specialist will provide more clarity.
“It’s not a day-to-day thing,” the head coach explained.
“Maybe on the back of the game at the weekend (against Leeds), we’ll know his chances for Catalans.”
