FORMER England international Reece Lyne has confirmed he will retire at the end of this season.
And fellow Doncaster back Luke Briscoe will also hang up his boots at the end of their Championship play-off campaign.
Lyne, 33, has more than 300 career appearances to his name, most of them coming over eleven seasons at Wakefield Trinity after starting out with hometown side Hull FC.
His two England caps came against France, in the autumns of 2018 and 2021.
Briscoe, 32, has played more than 250 games, having had two spells each with Leeds Rhinos and Featherstone Rovers.
His elder brother Tom, with whom he played at Leeds, is also about to retire.
Both have been with Doncaster for the past three seasons, and the club’s chief executive Carl Hall said: “We want to thank them both.
“They’ve been great for us from the minute they walked through the door, they’ve both got lovely families, and I wish them all the best going forward.”
