TANGUY ZENON has signed a new one-year deal with Huddersfield Giants.
The 24-year-old signed for the Giants midway through the 2026 Super League season from Halifax Panthers, going on to score three tries and 12 goals across 12 appearances.
French back Zenon came through the ranks at Catalans Dragons, where he made five appearances before moving to Halifax and then Huddersfield, who snapped him up on a deal until the end of the season amid the Panthers’ financial struggles.
A popular figure both on and off the pitch, he is delighted to be staying at the club, who turned their fortunes around with six wins from their final eight matches to finish in twelfth place.
“It’s been a tough season but i’ve really enjoyed it and I’m glad to be a part of it again next year,” said Zenon of his new deal.
“The group is really good and I’ve made some good friends here, so I’m excited to continue my journey at the Giants. The supporters have welcomed me into this club as well and stuck with us through the good and the bad times.”
Director of rugby Andy Kelly is pleased with what he has seen from the versatile back so far, adding: “Tanguy has shown more than enough ability and commitment for the coaching staff to want to keep him.
“We feel there’s more to come from Tanguy and we’re looking forward to working with him to develop him on the field and on the training ground.”
