Adrian Lam believes Leigh Leopards fans have ‘earned the right’ for Las Vegas

ADRIAN LAM believes Leigh Leopards fans have “earned the right” to go to Las Vegas for their dedicated support of the club.

It was announced earlier last month that the Leopards would be taking part in the 2027 event – to be held at Allegiant Stadium on February 27 – alongside Bradford Bulls.

Both clubs have enjoyed great progress in recent years, with Leigh and Bradford competing against each other in the Championship as recently as 2022.

And Leigh boss Lam feels that the Leopards fans deserve their break.

He said: “I’m so excited for our fans because I feel like they’ve earned this right.

“How we travel in terms of numbers each year, we’ve probably grown faster with our memberships than any other club.

“The stadium and entertainment gets better and better and I think the atmosphere is the best in Super League.

“I feel this is the right reward for our fans.”

Lam also believes that the trip to Las Vegas will help the club attract new players and sponsors.

“Corporately it can be massive for us because you have sponsors on the jersey where all the world can see,” he added.

“Recruitment and retention, it could definitely help with. Players want to be involved in games like this.”
