Aiton ruled out through injury

Catalans have received a huge blow after Paul Aiton was ruled out for six weeks with a pectoral injury.

The exciting hooker was forced off on his Dragons debut in Friday’s 12-6 defeat to Wigan.

Aiton, 30, only joined the Dragons this off-season after an impressive year at Leeds Rhinos.

Laurent Frayssinous does have cover at hooker, with Eloi Pellisier a regular off the bench while Greogry Mounis is also capable of playing there. However Aiton’s loss remains a blow, with the Papua New Guinea international expected to develop an exciting partnership with halfbacks Todd Carney and Richie Myler.
