Allgood to miss KR’s Catalans visit

Hull Kingston Rovers will be without Mitch Allgood for Saturday’s trip to high-flying Catalans.

Allgood was charged by the RFL on Monday for deliberate contact with a match official during KR’s Magic Weekend defeat to rivals Hull FC.

The Australian has opted to use his Early Guilty Plea, meaning he will miss just one match for the incident.

In more positive news for Rovers, Shaun Lunt will be free to face the Dragons after also using his Early Guilty Plea.

The hooker was handed a Grade A dangerous contact charge following the Magic Weekend defeat, but he will not be punished further.

Lunt’s availability is a huge boost to James Webster, who is already set to be without Thomas Minns, Graeme Horne and Liam Salter following injuries this week.
