Another challenge for Underbank!

 

KINGSTONE Press Cider National Conference League Division One outfit Underbank Rangers, who pulled off a stunning victory at 2015 treble winners Leigh Miners Rangers in Saturday’s first round, have been handed a tough tie at the second stage of the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup.

Rangers will visit NCL Premiers Kells following last night’s draw, which was conducted by Sheffield Eagles’ 1998 Wembley legends John Kear and Mark Aston.

Hunslet Club Parkside, who prevailed at Thatto Heath Crusaders, entertain West Hull as 18 teams battle for a third round spot against professional opposition.

The full draw is: Kells v Underbank Rangers; Millom v Pilkington Recs; Shaw Cross Sharks v Lock Lane; Hunslet Club Parkside v West Hull; York Acorn v Distington; Hull Dockers v Featherstone Lions; Wath Brow Hornets v Oulton Raiders; Egremont Rangers v Rochdale Mayfield; Siddal v Northumbria University.

Ties to be played Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 February.
