Ashes prankster denies obstruction charge

THE internet prankster who lined up with the Australia team before their second Test victory over England has denied the charge of obstruction of a lawful activity.

Daniel Jarvis stood with the Kangaroos as their national anthem was played ahead of the game at Hill Dickinson Stadium in Liverpool.

The 37-year-old, from Gravesend in Kent, pleaded not guilty at South Sefton Magistrates’ Court in Bootle and will stand trial on April 21 next year.

He was granted bail with the conditions of not entering any professional sports ground in England and Wales or posting footage of the incident on social media, and has been fitted with an electronic tag.
