Australia & New Zealand name squads for the Four Nations

Both Australia and New Zealand have named a number of debutants in their squad for the Four Nations.

Mal Meninga has named seven rookies in the Kangaroos squad, while New Zealand head coach David Kidwell could give debuts to five players.

In his first selection as Kiwis head coach, David Kidwell has named NZ Warriors backs David Fusitu’a and Solomone Kata, promising five-eighth Te Maire Martin, Canberra second row Joseph Tapine and in-form Raiders team-mate Jordan Rapana.

Meanwhile, Australia’s squad lacks some familiar names, including the Cronulla captain Paul Gallen, who guided his side to NRL glory at the weekend.
