SAM NORMAN and Emma Hutchinson have returned to Barrow Raiders after a year away from rugby league.
The wing pair both missed the 2025 season to go travelling.
Norman has been with the Raiders since they were under the guise of Barrow Island, helping the club to promotion in 2023 and then scoring six tries in 13 appearances during their first top-flight campaign.
Hutchinson arrived during the 2022 season and played 14 times in Super League, scoring eight tries.
Barrow slipped from fifth to seventh in the table last season in the absence of the duo.
Norman said: “It’s been a long 12 months. I’ve missed the team, and it will be really nice to get back to it.”
Hutchinson added: “I’m looking forward to getting back on the pitch and getting stuck in.”
Fellow winger Chloe Capstick has recommitted for the 2026 season, along with hooker Beth Lindsay plus forwards Lucy Dickinson, Vanessa Temple, Leah Clough, Jodie Morley and Megan Mayhew-Beach.
