BRADFORD BULLS duo Alfie Leake and Cameron Bate have penned new full-time deals with the club.
Both Leake and Bate have come through the Bulls’ Elite Academy system and join fellow ex-Elite Academy graduate Jamie Gill in committing their futures to the club, with Kurt Haggerty’s side back in Super League for the 2026 season.
Bate said: “The coaches here and the lads who are coming into the team will help my development, they’re going to push me and push each other so my game, both mentality and physically, will be developed.
“I am looking forward to pre-season, trying to get in Kurt’s eyesight and on his radar and do my best to knock on the door for next season.”
Leake added: “It feels good to be here heading into Super League, I am very appreciative of the club for keeping me on.
“It is a dream come true to play Super League and be a big part of history with Bradford being back in Super League, so I am proud to be able to play my part moving forward.
“I’m excited to be able to learn from some of the senior boys and I will be able to develop faster due to being in and around them every day. It will also be challenging and bring about added competitiveness, so it will be good to be in and amongst them.”
Bradford Bulls head coach Kurt Haggerty said: “Alfie and Cameron are very similar to Jamie, they are both coming through the pathway so it’s a really exciting time.
“I know the work that Ryan Hunkin (head of youth) has been putting into some of these boys coming through, both Alfie and Cameron have really started to blossom through now and they deserve to go in a full-time environment.
“I’m looking forward to seeing how far they can go in their career.”
