BRADFORD BULLS have responded to stock car racing company’s accusations over alleged ’emotional and financial torment’ that has seen YorStox’s lease at Odsal come to an end.
The two parties came to a severance deal in May, with YorStox now confirming that motorsport will no longer take part at Odsal.
In a statement released yesterday, YorStox took aim at the Bulls after claims they ‘were not welcome’ following Bradford’s acquisition of the stadium from the RFL.
The statement reads: “We have not been able to make any statement until this point, on the advice of our very experienced legal team.
“It became very apparent in July 25, that after acquiring the lease from the RFL, albeit at a lower bid from ourselves, once the Bulls had completed the acquisition of the stadium, we were not welcome.
“We fought legal battles to see out the 2025 season and against our best wishes, in May 2026 finally agreed a severance deal with the Bulls.
“It is a deft blow to our sport, but finalises the end of 18 months of emotional and financial torment for the Andrew and Robson families that have given their every all to Odsal from its very rebirth.
“To those that have supported us, we thank you.
“To all those who have been negative towards us it is noted and both sides will be responded to accordingly in full, at our forthcoming endeavours which will always ensure Stockcar racing remains alive.
YorStox have released an explosive statement today regarding the exit of stock cars from Odsal Stadium, insisting they were “not welcome” once Bulls had acquired the lease last summer.
A Bulls spokesperson told the Telegraph and Argus: “We have been advised not to answer any specific questions on this subject.
“Needless to say, there were differing opinions that ultimately led to both parties agreeing to bring the existing lease to an end.”
