Bradford man banned but Wakefield star escapes ban

Bradford Bulls player Tom Olbison has been suspended for one match by an RFL Disciplinary Tribunal found him guilty of placing undue pressure on the neck of Danny Tickle of Widnes Vikings in the ninth minute of a First Utility Super League match played on Sunday March 30.

Olbison, who pleaded not guilty to Grade C dangerous contact, was also fined £300 after the Tribunal downgraded the offence to Grade B.

The Bradford man did have the opportunity to submit an Early Guilty Plea, but Bradford chose to contest the decision.

The Tribunal found Paul McShane of Wakefield Trinity Wildcats not guilty of making Grade C dangerous contact with Hull Kingston Rovers player Rhys Lovegrove in the 42nd minute of a fixture played on Sunday March 30.
