Jodie Broughton has signed a new two-year extension at Catalans.
The 28-year-old has had an impressive first year at the French club, topping their try-scoring charts with 18 tries in 19 appearances.
Broughton joined the club for the start of this season from Huddersfield on a two-year deal, but will now remain at the club until the end of 2019.
Catalans CEO Christophe Jouffret said: “Since his arrival, Jodie Broughton is easily adapted to our club and our team. This remarkable English try hunter participated greatly to our qualification for the Super 8’s.
“Although Jodie still has a year contract with us in 2017, it was important to extend his contract to 2018 and 2019 to keep our great finisher.”
