Bulls to add Gaskell and George for 2014

BRADFORD BULLS have captured Salford City Reds stand-off half Lee Gaskell, League Express understands.
The Bulls are expected to announce the signing of the former St Helens junior this week, and he will join Huddersfield winger Luke George, whose capture was announced by the Bulls last week on a two-year contract.
Gaskell, 22, has been on loan to the Reds from St Helens, and has played mainly at fullback under Reds coach Brian Noble, although he prefers the stand-off role.
George, 25, who was out of contract at the Giants at the end of the year, was on loan at Hull KR earlier this season.
“Luke has pace and can play wing, as well as deputising in the centre,” said Bulls coach Francis Cummins.
“That versatility is important because we need competition for places in a squad that’s not the biggest.
George is relishing the opportunity of a move to Odsal.
“The Bulls are a very prestigious club and have won every trophy possible,” said George
“They’ve had a rough few years and not been as successful as they have in the past but you can see what Franny is trying to move the club forward and get Bradford back to the top.”
