Cas beat Rhinos in thriller

A late Jake Webster try gave Castleford the spoils, as they returned to winning ways against Leeds.

The Rhinos had come from 12-0 behind to lead 14-12 before Webster’s try six minutes from time gave Cas their first win in four games.

For the Rhinos, they couldn’t build on their victory over St Helens, with errors at key times costing them.

Early tries through Andy Lynch and Webster had put Daryl Powell’s side ahead before Leeds responded through Joel Moon, Kallum Watkins and Tom Briscoe to give Leeds a 14-12 lead.

The score stayed that way until the 73rd minute when Webster’s try won it.

A full report of the game will be in Monday’s League Express.
