Cas forward for Super League switch

Castleford Tigers prop Junior Moors could be heading for the transfer market.
League Express understands the powerhouse prop is moving closer to full fitness after a horrendous hip injury that has kept him out of action for almost nine months.

Moors, 33, needs another operation that is likely to keep him out for ten weeks, but will then be on the home straight on his road to recovery.

The Tigers are believed to be open to Moors leaving the club, with his contract set to expire at the end of the season.

With Moors looking at a June return date, his availability will prick up the ears of several clubs looking for a mid-season recruit.

League Express understands that Castleford are likely to come to a settlement with Moors, meaning he would not be an expensive pick-up for other clubs, while for Moors himself a move would provide him the opportunity to put himself in the shop window for a longer-term deal beyond 2020.

A standout player at The Jungle for several years, Moors has made over 100 Super League appearances for Castleford since joining the club in 2015.
