CASTLEFORD TIGERS director Dean Jones has resigned from his role at the West Yorkshire club after what has been described as a ‘change in work logistics’.
Jones, the COO for Menzies Distribution Solutions, joined the Castleford Board of Directors back in July.
At the time, he said: “I feel privileged to be involved, there’s not many people that can say they’ve come and done this.
“I’m a local lad, it’s a Rugby League community, and I’m really proud to be here.”
Despite stepping down as a director, Jones will still support the club as an advisor.
In a statement, the Tigers confirmed: “Dean has kindly agreed to remain as an advisor to the Board for the foreseeable future, allowing the club to continue benefiting from his experience and guidance.
“The club would like to thank Dean for the outstanding work he has undertaken during his time as a Director, and for his continued support and commitment to Castleford Tigers.”
