CATALANS DRAGONS forward Oliver Partington is set for a shock move to Super League rivals St Helens.
That’s according to the League Scene Pod, which has claimed that the Merseyside club has completed a double signing, with Partington joining Saints alongside South Sydney Rabbitohs hooker Siliva Havili.
Posting on X, the League Scene Pod wrote: “St Helens have completed a signing double with well-placed sources confirming to this podcast a signing double.
“Saints set to announce the signings of Siliva Havili and Catalans lock Oliver Partington.
“Some much needed reinforcements for the Saints’ middle third.”
Partington only joined the Dragons ahead of the 2025 Super League season on a two-year deal, meaning Saints will have to pay a fee to bring the 26-year-old to the Totally Wicked Stadium.
Partington began his career with Wigan Warriors, debuting in 2018 and going on to make 91 appearances for the Cherry and Whites before moving to the Salford Red Devils.
At Salford, the 26-year-old registered 45 appearances in two seasons, becoming a cornerstone of Paul Rowley’s pack, but he left for Catalans at the end of the 2024 campaign.
