Hull Kingston Rovers coach Chris Chester described Danny Brough as the best kicker in the competition after the halfback’s influential performance in Huddersfield’s 32-14 win over Rovers.
Brough was at his best as he scored his 100th career try and produced a kicking display of the highest order that troubled Rovers throughout.
“We spoke about putting pressure on Danny Brough but we couldn’t do that.” Chester told League Express
“He’s the best kicking halfback in the competition by a mile and I wish he was in my team and not the opposition’s.”
Chester went on to appraise where Rovers stand now, adding: “It’s been a tough nine or ten days and we have to recharge our batteries.
“It was a pretty good June and there’s still a lot of confidence in the dressing room.”
