Clark can be best in world, says Castleford Tigers star

Castleford Tigers prop Andy Lynch has sensationally claimed that hooker Daryl Clark can go on and become the best No. 9 in the world, and has backed him to go on the Four Nations tour at the end of this season.

Clark – who has been heavily linked with a move away from the club – has been in sensational form for the Tigers all season, and Lynch insists he can get even better – and good enough to be regarded as the world’s best in years to come.

“For me he’s the form hooker in Super League and I think he’s got a great shot of playing for England at the end of the year,” Lynch said.

“He’s a great talent and he’s still young so he’s got plenty of time to learn and he’ll get even better as he gets older. He can be the world’s leading hooker if he keeps on going the way he is. Nobody will be able to touch him.”
