Wigan’s silverware hunt will continue without forwards Tony Clubb and Lee Mossop, who have both been ruled out for the rest of the season.
Shaun Wane confirmed in his pre-match press conference that the duo will miss the remainder of the year after failing to overcome injuries.
Clubb hasn’t featured for four months after sustaining a neck injury, with Wane confirming that he will not be in a position to play for the remainder of the season.
Meanwhile, Mossop hasn’t featured since Wigan’s defeat to Castleford last month, with a shoulder problem now meaning he won’t return to action in 2016.
The news comes as a blow to the Warriors, who have rarely had a fully-fit squad available all season.
Meanwhile, captain Sean O’Loughlin could still be absent for the crucial clash with Warrington, with a hamstring injury still causing problems.
