THREE attractive fixtures will kick-start the 2026/27 College Rugby League season on Wednesday (September 30).

Reigning champions Warrington Development Academy host Furness Raiders while in the other two top-flight games, Wigan & Leigh travel to the East Riding of Yorkshire for a tussle with Bishop Burton, and Hull KR entertain Castleford Tigers.

PREMIER DIVISION: Bishop Burton v Wigan & Leigh; Hull KR Academy v Castleford Tigers; Warrington Wolves v Furness Raiders.

NORTH WEST: Carmel v Wigan Warriors; Cronton Sixth Form v West Cumbria Sixth Form; Salford Red Devils Academy v Hopwood Hall.

YORKSHIRE: Halifax Panthers v Wyke Sixth Form; Leeds Rhinos v Wakefield; Pontefract v LLS Bulls.

The Men’s Universities’ National League starts on Wednesday, October 7, with National Leagues One and Two getting underway on October 14. The Women’s Student League, meanwhile, will begin on the last Sunday of next month (October 25).
