LEAGUE administrators will have to decide whether the 14-14 result of the NATIONAL CONFERENCE YORKSHIRE A fixture between THORNHILL TROJANS and MOLDGREEN will stand.

The Trojans went into the game against the unbeaten league leaders lacking several regulars because of the stag weekend of first-teamer Casey Johnson.

In the 63rd minute Moldgreen’s Ryan Butterworth dotted down but an altercation in back-play also involved spectators and led to the game’s abandonment.

Sam Ratcliffe had scored a try and three goals for Thornhill, for whom Reece Nicholson also crossed. The irrepressible Johnny Campbell was sinbinned on 45 minutes (high tackle) and Elliot Robson on 59 minutes (punching).  

Reece Pags had crossed twice for Moldgreen, George Collins adding a goal. Xander Nash was red-carded for backchat after having been sinbinned for a high tackle.
