Eorl Crabtree and Kyle Wood are set to make their first appearances of 2016 after being named in Huddersfield’s 20-man squad to face Catalans on Sunday.
The duo missed out on Huddersfield’s opening pre-season game against Hull KR at the weekend with Paul Anderson keen to ensure both are 100% fit for the start of the season.
Wood’s return to the squad comes six months after he last featured for the Giants when he broke his foot playing against the Dragons.
A notable omission from the Giants squad is captain Danny Brough, who is being saved for Huddersfield’s Super League opener with St Helens.
