Wigan are likely to welcome John Bateman and Dom Crosby back to the side ahead of Friday’s clash with Castleford.
Bateman has been forced to sit out the last two matches while Crosby will make his first appearance of the season after recovering from a hip injury.
England international Bateman had been cleared by a neurologist to play against Wakefield on Sunday, but head coach Shaun Wane revealed that he was laid low with a dose of flu.
Meanwhile, Crosby’s return is a timely boost for the Warriors as their extensive injury woe heightens.
“That’s a big boost – I need him back,” said Wane.
