Cup draw tonight

The draw for the second round of the 2016 Ladbrokes Challenge Cup will be made this evening (Tuesday 2 February).

John Kear, the coach of the Sheffield Eagles side that won the trophy in 1998, will conduct the event, together with Eagles Lance Todd Trophy winner Mark Aston.

The eighteen teams in the hat are Northumbria University, Oulton Raiders, Egremont Rangers, Hull Dockers, Kells, Underbank Rangers, Shaw Cross Sharks, Millom, Distington, Featherstone Lions, Pilkington Recs, Hunslet Club Parkside, Wath Brow Hornets, Lock Lane; Rochdale Mayfield, York Acorn, Siddal and West Hull.

The second round will be played over the weekend of Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 February.
