THE identity of the team that will join Elland and Millom in being relegated from the Kingstone Press Cider National Conference League’s First Division is likely to be established this evening (Tuesday 1 November).
Oulton are to appear before Conference bosses tonight over a charge that the Raiders allegedly fielded an ineligible player in the league `derby’ with Milford, which the Marlins won, in early September.
The Raiders could, if found guilty, have two points deducted and find themselves plunged into the bottom three in the final table, with Hunslet Warriors being reprieved from relegation as a result.
The original hearing, in mid-October, was opened and adjourned along with several other cases as a busy disciplinary schedule led to time running out on all concerned.
