Daryl Clark commits long-term future to Warrington

Warrington hooker Daryl Clark has signed a new deal with the club until the end of the 2023 season.

Clark has become a key component in the Wolves side ever since making the move ahead of the 2015 season, playing 134 times for the club.

A former Man of Steel winner with Castleford, Clark is widely regarded as one of Super League’s best hookers and marks a significant piece of business for Wire.

“I’m really happy to have my future sorted,” Clark said.

“I think this club is striving to be the best; you just have to look at the signings made over the last couple of years to see that. I feel that the club and team are going places and I am happy to be a part of that for years to come. We are building something special here.

“The signings we are making prove we are trying to push for that silverware and compete at the top. It would be nice if I could be part of that first team to win the Grand Final and I’ve fallen short in the Challenge Cup a few times too so it would be nice to get one over the next few years.

“I feel that over the last couple of years I’ve been getting back to some of my best and I feel I still have more to offer. The supporters have always been good to me and got behind me since the day I signed, and hopefully they will keep doing that!”
