DONCASTER have extended Hull KR back Harvey Horne’s loan until the end of the season.
It’s a third stint at the club for the 21-year-old nephew of coach Richard Horne.
Harvey Horne, who recently signed a Rovers contract extension to the end of 2027, played centre and helped Doncaster to an impressive 46-18 home Championship win over Oldham last time out.
Now they face three games in eights days as they continue to build towards the play-offs.
After hosting North Wales Crusaders on Sunday, Doncaster head to Barrow on Wednesday (August 12), then play Midlands Hurricanes at home on Sunday 16.
Harvey Horne, who had two spells at Doncaster last season, when he also spent time at Sheffield Eagles, and has been at Goole Vikings this year, had initially joined the South Yorkshire club for two weeks.
He has played once for Rovers at first-team level, scoring a hat-trick of tries in the 104-0 Challenge Cup third-round win over amateurs Lock Lane at Sewell Group Craven Park in February.
Rovers have three other players out on loan in the Championship – prop Zach Fishwick at Batley Bulldogs and fullback Declan Murphy and centre Louix Gorman at Salford.
