
Parramatta Eels earned their first win of the season in style with a 44-10 win over Manly Sea Eagles.
Having only scored 46 points in their opening six games before this game, the Eels’ season came to life as they almost matched that entire total in one game.
Tries from Manu Ma’u, George Jennings and Kaysa Pritchard had the Eels comfortably in the lead at 20-0. at half-time.
Parramatta scored two more tries through Corey Norman and Michael Jennings before the Sea Eagles replied through Brad Parker.
Kenny Edwards and Akuila Uate exchanged tries before Clint Gutherson, in his second game back after long-term injury, rounded off the victory for the Eels.
