ENGLAND and St Helens forward, Matty Lees, played against Australia in the First Ashes Test with a broken eye socket.
Rugby league players are infamous for their toughness, but Lees, who suffered the injury after being accidentally elbowed by teammate Alex Walmsley in training, took to the starting line-up against Australia regardless of his issue.
The documentary, Chasing History, sees Shaun Wane and the England squad opening up more than ever before, providing never-been-seen before access throughout the Ashes Series.
And the second episode featured Lees’ training ground injury and his road to recovery ahead of the 26-6 loss to Australia last weekend.
