A LATE try by Harry Lowery, with Joe Bradley landing his fourth goal, helped the North East edge a match in which the lead changed hands several times.
While Max Hope, James Leach and Lowery crossed for the North East, Yorkshire responded with tries by Tom Delaney, Lucas Child, Will Handley and Sam Ratcliffe, three of which Luke Illingworth improved.

James Stanton had a hat-trick, Joe Capener crossed twice and William Lawes and Oliver McDermott nipped in, with Shay Flanagan kicking a goal.

MIDLANDS, who went in front in the second minute through Uchenna Okereke, remained ahead until four minutes before the break, only for North West to go in at half-time 10-4 ahead, with the help of late tries by Harry Bates and Will Dobson.
Sam Lloyd and Josh Barnard added touchdowns inside the first eleven minutes of the second period, Lloyd landing his second goal.
