ENGLAND’S Physical Disability World Cup defence is over after a 26-0 defeat against New Zealand on Monday.
Victory was essential after England lost Friday’s tournament opener to hosts Australia.
It means Australia and New Zealand will contest the final this Sunday (November 8) at Sydney’s Allianz Stadium ahead of semi-finals there in the men’s and women’s tournaments.
They also play on Thursday to complete the triangular group phase, all of which is being played at AIIMS Stadium in Cabramatta.
