Every player London Broncos have signed as strong Championship squad takes shape

IT’S fair to say that the London Broncos have been recruiting as if they were a Super League club.

New head coach Jason Demetriou has been working alongside new owners Darren Lockyer and Grant Wechsel and the capital club are almost certainly favourites to take the second tier by storm in 2026.

It was well known that the Broncos were building for Super League in case they were given the nod by the independent panel which, instead, chose Toulouse Oympique and York Knights to become the 13th and 14th Super League sides.

Let’s take a look at all of the signings the Broncos have made so far.

Morea Morea

Morea Morea excelled for PNG in their Pacific Bowl success and has followed his national coach to the capital. Expected to light up the Championship, the 24-year-old has 32 appearances under his belt in the Queensland Cup.

Robert Mathias

Another of London’s PNG contingent, Robert Mathias joins the Broncos after scoring ten tries in 34 appearances for the PNG Hunters in the Queensland Cup.

Finley Glare

Another PNG star who is expected to be a thorn in many Championship clubs’ sides in 2025, Finley Glare moves to London having made almost 40 appearances for the PNG Hunters despite just being 22.

Gairo Voro

Gairo Voro impressed in the recent Pacific Bowl success with Papua New Guinea, and his national head coach Jason Demetriou has taken the 22-year-old to London with him for 2026. It’s been a whirlwind number of years for Voro, with the silky playmaker coming through the ranks at the PNG Hunters to debut in 2024. He played just one game that year, but took the Queensland Cup by storm this year, registering 19 appearances and scoring one try.

Elliot Wallis

25-year-old Elliot Wallis has Super League experience with Hull KR, Huddersfield Giants and Castleford Tigers, the latter of which he featured for on loan at the end of 2025. Wallis has made 40 top flight appearances, scoring 14 tries.

Neil Tchamambe

20-year-old Wakefield Trinity winger Neil Tchamambe has joined London on a season-long loan, following his Super League debut earlier this year. Having graduated through the Leeds Rhinos academy, Tchamambe was snapped up by Hull KR and then Wakefield after spending time on loan with Goole Vikings.

Dean Hawkins

There was an air of disbelief when Dean Hawkins signed for London from NRL club Parramatta Eels. With 26 NRL games under his belt, Hawkins is just 26 meaning the Broncos have recruited the halfback in the prime of his career.

Reagan Campbell-Gillard

If Dean Hawkins’ signing created shockwaves around the UK, then the capture of Reagan Campbell-Gillard was astronomic. Having played 245 games in the NRL with three State of Origin appearances and two World Cup successes with Australia, Campbell-Gillard is arguably the best Championship signing of all-time.

Emerly Bitungane

Born in Tanzania, Emerly Bitungane made his NRL debut with North Queensland Cowboys in 2025. Linked with a move to new NRL franchise Perth Bears in 2027, the second-rower is expected to play one season at London before returning to Australia.

Epel Kapinias

27-year-old forward Epel Kapinias starred for the Kumuls in this autumn’s Pacific Bowl success and has earned ten PNG caps. Kapinias has also registered four tries in 64 appearances for the Hunters over three separate spells, appearing ten times for Wynnum Manly Seagulls as well in 2022.

Bobby Hartley

Perhaps one of the lesser-known signings for 2026, Bobby Harley joins from Keighley Cougars where he made five appearances last season.

Luke Smith

Luke Smith joins from Canterbury Bulldogs and, like Emerly Bitungane, has been linked with a move to Perth Bears when they enter the NRL in 2027. Scoring six tries in 21 appearances, Smith joins aged just 22.

Siliva Havili

32-year-old hooker Siliva Havili has made over 170 NRL appearances with South Sydney Rabbitohs and Canberra Raiders, and also represented Tonga on the international stage.

Sam Davis

Returns to London after a year with Salford Red Devils. The financial troubles of the Red Devils has seen an exodus out of the club and Sam Davis will be hoping to add to the 94 appearances made for the Broncos during his career so far.

Jack Croft

Released by Wakefield Trinity at the end of 2025, Jack Croft has signed a one-year deal with London for 2026. Can play at centre and in the second-row, Croft has made 38 Super League appearances.

Jake Ramsden

Coming through the Warrington Wolves academy – where he won the Grand Final against Leeds Rhinos two months ago – Jake Ramsden has earned his first senior contract with the Broncos. Also an Academy Origin representative.

James Meadows

Halfback James Meadows returns to London for a third spell following a season with Bradford Bulls. He’s been part of their two previous Super League campaigns, in 2019 and 2024.

Jeremiah Simbiken

Released after just one season with Castleford Tigers, Kumul back-rower Jeremiah Simbiken has remained in England.

Alex Max

Centre Alex Max had a decent strike rate for PNG Hunters, scoring 22 tries in 38 Queensland Cup games.
