FEATURE: An alternative England 17 for Steve McNamara

One story that caught the eye this morning was St Helens coach Keiron Cunningham admitting he was shocked that centre Mark Percival didn’t get a call-up to the England squad for last year’s Test series against New Zealand.

There’s no doubting Steve McNamara will have made some tough calls in leaving people out of his squad for the series, and even tougher calls to whittle down his squad into a match day 17.

England’s depth seems to be as strong as it’s been for some time – and to justify that, we’ve compiled an alternative England side to the one that predominantly featured during the series against the Kiwis last year.

We’ve taken players that didn’t appear for England at all during the four games, and made what we think is a mightily competitive side! Agree with us? Or anyone we’ve left out? Let us know on social media by tweeting @LeagueExpress or @RLWorld!
