  1. Lachlan Lam looks like he can barely walk. Best of luck to him.
  2. I reckon this is nowhere near - I recall making jokes about the fans at one end the stadium being short-changed before. Mind you, Handley may make a liar of me before the opening credits of Gogglebox!
  3. Imagine the fist-fight between all the thesps who've been on DID about who gets to play Prospero?
  4. Seriously, I don't think Leigh have scored what their dominance warranted. Ten points in it, with a kicker as reliable as Rhyse Martin, and there's a possibility that this match can turn around for Leeds.
  5. We are progressing through the standard early-season stages of flip-flopping. Round 1: NEVER a card! Rounds 2 & 3: Let's see what happens, now that the clubs have come out in favour of permanent brain damage. Round 4: Full Mick Morgan, with noose, pitchfork and flaming torch.
  6. Hanley denied by Handley. Good D, as some coaches like to word it.
  7. A lot of the form Huddersfield shewed in the second half against Wigan, but without having gone so far behind first.
  8. Nearly a fifth of the screen taken up by a footer with the Sky Sports Logo and the score. Have SL+ accidentally loaded up the "impaired vision" stream?
  9. Storm v Panthers, as the visitors try to break Melbourne's amazing Round 1 winning streak. Some Chateau Papenhuyzen claret has already been uncorked.
  10. Warriors 12:16 Sharks. Disappointed by the hosts' performance. I hope they aren't backsliding after a great 2023.
  11. A Dutch comedy sketch on how people view English sports.
  12. Well, eventually. Both sides were pretty sloppy for a large part of the first half.
  13. Hosking, on the other hand, does score! Great take of the high ball.
  14. The Pong sets up a try for Gamble, but the referee calls obsctuction.
  15. Messy, but that's early season rust for you. Canberra take the lead with a penalty for a crusher tackle.
  16. They churn game show episodes out pretty fast these days too, but the production companies have got much slicker at disguising it. Still, at least the audience are somewhere warm for a few hours without having to pay for it.
  17. Here's a much more chippy take, which may cheer up the fun-sponges: https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2024/mar/04/nrl-las-vegas-games-review-allegiant-stadium-roosters-vs-broncos-eagles-vs-rabbitohs-?CMP=aus_bsky A line like: "That’s not to dismiss rugby league’s chances entirely. The US has 330 million people, many of them with more disposable income than brains." suggest the author has a sizeable chip on his shoulder.
