  1. In digging them up I mean? For every thread you might dig up to look smug, there'll be one someone can find to make you look daft. Maybe.
  2. Just to add, Hull's 19 man squad sees some rather unfamiliar names in it. Liam Kent, Danny Nicklas, Chris Green and perhaps slightly more familiar, Mike Bennett, included. http://www.hullfc.com/hullfc/contents/?p=6504
  3. This Hull FC team will be a very different animal to the one on show in last Thursday's Derby. That team didn't need coaching, all players knew what was at stake and how important a fixture it was. Friday will be very different. The team will need coaching and there's nobody available up to that particular task unfortunately. Once again, I'll repeat myself and say Wigan are the best team Hull have played this year, and with Long, Fitz, O'Meley, Tickle, Whiting and a few others unavailable in the Hull ranks, there's only going to be one winner. Hull 8 Wigan 26.
  4. The disciplinary should have given Danny Tickle a crimestoppers award for belting Cockayne, not a bloody ban.
  5. Tickle one match and Cockayne two matches, four others with fines or cautions. Pah!, should have let them all off for the entertainment value. http://www.sportinglife.com/rugbyleague/ne...sciplinary.html
  6. Kick through from Rangi Chase for Dean Widders to score. 22-16 to Cas. Crowd around 7k according to Radio Leeds. Westerman goals, 24-16, 20 mins left.
  7. carvell concedes a penalty for doing a "Lockers"
  8. Eh? Sorry mate, didn't quite hear that.... (Well done, btw.)
  9. You would think that after he swatted Leon Pryce off like a fly at Knowsely Rd a few months back.
  10. No Fitzgibbon tonight from what I hear. Looks like my bet's safe.
  11. Weather not sure what to do over here. Gloriously sunny one minute, chucking it down the next. Hopefully it'll be peeing down later, suit Agar's brand of rugby, as BR says. (Don't expect to hear from BR for a while, if he's any sense he'll keep a low profile having incurred the wrath of SB... )
  12. Victor Chandler have Hull KR at 5/4 off scratch. Looks like they know as much about RL as Richard Agar.
  13. One you might see at "Scruffs" rather than "Crufts".
  14. Not a chance mate. Dobson to torment Hull who won't be able to cope with his kicking. Hull fc have been out enthused by most teams this year, but have been fortunate to scrape more wins than they should have. If any team is going to win by enthusiasm tomorrow, it won't be Hull fc.
  15. Rovers by at least a dozen. And if both teams maintain their form from last weekend, a repeat of the 6-42 debacle may be on the cards.
  16. A remarkable year for RL in that two players from the same club managed to score TEN tries in a match. Sean Edwards managed it against poor lowly Swinton in September, but Martin Offiah managed it first, against poor lowly, errm Leeds in May of that year. And the Offiah feat was in a Premiership semi final as well! Sorry to bring this up, as it's another pointless history lesson and obviously of no interest to anyone on here.
  17. You may want to let any South West based Hull FC fans know if there's any sofas available in the pub concerned to hide behind.
  18. We are pooh so we're not! FWIW... 1. Gary Kemble 2. Clive Sullivan 3. James Leuluai 4. Garry Schofield 5. Paul Sterling 6. David Topliss 7. Peter Sterling 8. Lee Crooks 9. Richard Swain 10. Trevor Skerret 11. Mick Crane 12. Craig Fitzgibbon 13. Steve Norton. 14. Richard Horne 15. Jason Smith 16. Willie Manu 17. Paul Rose I bet not many people's all time favourite 17 have two brothers in them...
  19. Cheers BR. But that's about as likely as summat not very likely.
  20. Sadly, it appears so. The Huddersfield RL marketing folk are certainly earning their corn it seems.
  21. I feel sorry for Joan. She seems to have been overlooked for some reason.
