There's potential for another 'fairytale' on Saturday when Accrington Stanley play Stevenage at home. A win will see Stanley promoted which will be a remarkable achievement for the smallest club in the professional leagues. Our average is only around 1500 and with so many bigger clubs in league 2 eg Portsmouth to assemble a squad capable of being promoted is a massive endorsement of the players, coaching staff and directors. I have a season ticket for Stanley and I'm starting to get really nervous as the game approaches.

Agree wholeheartedly that something should be done asap. It was very disappointing to see James Graham abusing the ref and I had hoped that that particular incident would have been enough for the RFL to remind all players that dissent will not be tolerated. Not gonna bash Stains though because no team is virgin white over this issue. Send out a reminder to all clubs and players and then start sending them off if they carry on. Simples. Going back a few years I remember being at Odsal and the ref sending Hanley off at half time for mouthing off. Times have changed... not always for the better.

Read that Ablett had got a 3 match ban in the paper this morning and thought to myself 'fair enough'. I'm quite suprised to come on here and see so many calling for a longer ban. I guess the RFL are never gonna please everyone! I thought he should have walked but was also happy that Wigan went on to beat a Leeds team still up to their full numbers. Beating a team who are a man short sometimes takes the gloss off. Now then... come on Leeds and gave the Stains a good hiding at the weekend

They look good. It's their norm to start the season somewhat slow but they appear to have hit the ground running. I've only seen the HKR game but the fitness levels and controlled aggression are there for all to see. Long may it last.
