  1. Just bought tickets to see her at Manchester Apollo in November. I'm so excited, she rarely comes to the UK.
  2. He’s a nervous troll with a long, long history of sniping at Warrington.
  3. Squad is the right word, Gatesy. We are going to need every one them to play their part if we are challenging at the end.
  4. Missing McGuire, Thewlis, Harrison and Drinkwater (anyone else?) tonight. Great stuff. Wire have Hull next week and Catalans have Cas, then we meet in Perpignan, which should be a cracker. Potentially both on 7 wins from 7 as it kicks off. Cas will be fine, great club and fans, just don't think they'll be in the mix.
  5. Not impressed by Wigan, but along with Salford they'll be in the mix at the play off stage.
  6. Davidson is a poor journeyman who hides his rumours behind a paywall.
  7. If I remember rightly it was featured on Have I Got News For You and caused quite a stir.
  8. Cas can win this. I’m enjoying it but I turned the sound off. Someone please have a word about the bias and lack of talent on sky. Jones Buchanan is like a spitting image puppet and McDermott is just pathetic. It’s not a good look for the sport. Sorry, anyway, it’s still entertaining to watch compared to soccer.
  9. But he's been excellent! Dudson, Philbin and McGuire haven't even pulled the shirt on yet.
  10. Bullock has been really good this so far this season, but yes, we have a lot of props. They have been providing the platform for Williams that he never had last year.
  11. There's a difference between marketing and advertising. This is marketing. It's also just a bit of fun.

  13. That’s the energy. It’s hard to explain just how good they are live.
  14. First saw this lot live in Bradford over 30 years ago and they still have the same energy! Absolutely amazing live.
  15. Agree with all of this. Lolohea has all the skills but no pace. The whole backline looked a little slow, barring Naiqama. I was so pleased with our defence again tonight. As JB says, they camped on our line and had a hundred repeat sets, but still went in scoreless at half time. It speaks volumes for Wire's commitment and organisation. Two things I particularly enjoyed tonight were 1. Ratchford's work in defence and attack, regularly trying to get the ball to Ashton and holding firm while Fages tried to work his magic. 2. Williams' all round game. With a pack that doesn't take a backward step and a solid half back partner in Drinkwater, he is really showing his class. Overall, absolutely delighted with the win at a place that will be a graveyard for most teams this season. Glad to get it out of the way even though it's always a pleasure to go there*. Very good turnout by the Wire fans as well, by the way. *Although it was freeeeeeeezing tonight
  16. They never do. I should wait, but I bet they don't tell us what was said. I'm proudly 'woke' as it's now known (all for fairness and equality and anti-racist) but 7 matches for uttering a sensitive word at this level of high intensity collision sport seems ridiculous. I know I'm biased, but FFS. We need to have education, not just punitive, reactionary nonsense that just alienates people.
  17. As fans who pay for the sport, we should be given more information. I can't help but think there's no crime victim here; but more importantly we have a right to know why he was banned.
