Apparently so, Featherstone Rovers have signed England Knights international Ellis Longstaff from Super League side Warrington Wolves with immediate effect. The 21-year-old back-rower or centre has been plying his trade on loan at Salford Red Devils this season, making six appearances for Paul Rowley’s side. Played twice at centre for Hull in 2022 and once for Salford this season.

I have it on good authority that from next season we will do the following Remove the fan zone and in it's place install 4 sets of stocks. Each match day we will randomly select 4 young people between the age of 14 and 21 and place the said people in the stocks for any fans to throw rotten fruit. Additionally, once a month the club will erect a large pool and ducking stool. A ballot will be taken amongst all away fans at half time, and the home spectator with most votes (Ref will be exempt) will receive a ducking at the end of the game. To be screened on the big screen. Finally, an area will be set aside where, if anyone is found guilty of ANY minor indiscretion, we can have floggings handed out. We had to rule out hangings as this was thought to be too extreme.

Absolutely did not say that, but rugby does not have the same financial funds to deal with this in the same way as football. Fev work hard to deal with issues when reported, and will certainly have the backing of all Fev fans who frequent this forum. Not every Fev fans lives in Featherstone, I don't, so it isn't as easy as saying .. Fev isn't that big.

There is still plenty of trouble at football... most of it is now just away from the stadiums, and largely not reported. And in that, lies part of the problem. Where clubs attract younger fans, that also attend football, they believe that it's okay to bring that behaviour to rugby matches. Both Fev and Cas have small minorities that follow Leeds, Hull KR used to have a following from Hull City, I assume that is still the case. I am sure other clubs have similar links. The clubs can only try to deal with fans when they are identified, but it is a society issue that fortunately is very minor in RL than compared with football.

Bradford aren't guaranteed 3rd place. They have Fev at home, and London and Sheffield away, 3 difficult fixtures. Their last game, at home to York won't be easy, but you would expect them to win. Both Sheffield and London have 3 home games left. Not inconceivable that Bradford finish as low as 5th. -
Just watched the game back, and today you are a million miles off. I suggest you watch it back. He did one poor offload to Aikens, but apart from that, all offloads looked pretty reasonable. He did plenty of carries, scoots, and made plenty of yards in doing so. JD did two stupid offloads after slipping, both resulted in turning the ball over, but I don't hear any criticism. I thought we were poor today. Until that shift from the kick off I thought we were looking a lot worse than under Longy, still not convinced that Ford is the man to take us up. If we had been playing against a decent side today we would have been in trouble.

Hopefully 4 home games and 3 away.... Even if we crash and burn in the playoff we have 3 games.
