That was a very entertaining game . The Dolphins are one of the best sides to watch . Few iffy decisions in that game from the two most experienced refs in the game , not just the Turbo incident but Klein penalising a soccer style run into a player after a kick and dive then missing Herbie being throttled round the neck . I know the NRL piles millions into officiating but I honestly don’t think they’re getting a good return

Depressing . Player safety is one thing but we really have lost all common sense and empathy with the game with the level we’ve took things to . Allied to the slow motion scrutiny we give to tackles , along with players staying down in a game that prided itself on players getting up , I don’t know it just leaves a bit of a sour taste

Comments like this really wind me up . We are behind them , we go to watch them play Cornwall and Midlands , and we’re a dwindling minority . You also need to tell it as you see it honestly or it’s not gonna be much of a forum

Why are there never any other people on Michael Portillo’s trains ?

I’ve enjoyed this season so far but I didn’t enjoy much of this round . Some games weren’t that good and we’ve seen good officiating on the main but I don’t know if there’s been a clampdown in the week but the level of ref involvement with six agains and penalties especially was just utterly ridiculous . Couple of games I was on the verge of knocking off . Kasey Badger is way off this level of officiating to , she really struggled

That was a momentum killer . It summed things up . You’d think we’d never met each other , the number of times we just loop it to someone to get smashed is just depressing .

Better side by a country mile

I said to the guy next to me after ten minutes we weren’t gonna win that . We were totally and completely outplayed and outenthused . They made way more ground , played far better rugby and looked like they wanted to win . Our passing is so slow , telegraphed and ponderous it’s unbelievable . We go sideways , round in circles and end up nowhere . A few minutes with the new big lad punching holes and playing off that was all there was . Our defence was equally bad , that bloke dummied all day and we still took it . The ref was dreadfully weak but no excuses we were second best comfortably start to finish . By the way what did Walker do in the tackle to get marched ?

Drop goal pot shots , golden point is golden pointless . At the end of which you can get a draw . Go figure
